How Do I Download My Pictures From Recieving Text Messages On The Droid Eris HTC?

Okay, so I just recieved a new cell phone, and alot of my friends have been sending me pictures on my new Droid Eris HTC, but the main issue is that there's NO WAY I can download them, because it's simply not letting me. There's always a notification saying Download This Message Was Unsuccesful. Any Help??
