How do I download music from my PC into my Samsung Rant?

I just got a Samsung Rant and I see that I can put music from my PC into the phone, but I can't figure out how to do it. The phone came with a USB type cord and I hooked that into the computer and set it up, but now how do I get music onto the phone??
