I bought the accord used from a private seller. When I bought it he showed me how to disable/enable the alarm. Under the driver's seat near the trunk and gas latch is a little box that has a switch and a keyhole (I believe the key-hole is for locking/unlocking the gas/trunk door latches), which I don't think is involved in the alarm, but I don't remember at this point.
There is some short sequence the guy showed me; it has be done in the first 5 seconds or so of unlocking/disarming the car. I know it can be done becuase I did it a couple of time when I first got the car. It has do with disabling the alarm, hitting the door locks, flipping the switch turning the key from one point to another or something along those lines.
I'm not looking for cutting wires, removing a fuse, or going to the dealer...I just want to know if anyone knows the little sequence that will disable the alarm. I just can't remember the sequence.
