My onboard video card is a nvidia 6200 and i have a 8600 gt plugged into my computer. the 6200 is agp, and the 8600 is pci. it worked for about or over a month, then one day, it stopped working and my onboard video card came to work.

this has happened before, and i know for a fact my 8600 is not broken. i have tried it on other computers.

I checked the bios settings, but im not sure which to disable or what not. i also checked the thing on my computer>properties>hardware>device manager and the computer doesnt detect the 8600 inside, only the 6200. please, someone help me. thank you

Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management. Then click on "Device Manager" on the left hand side and then find "Display Adapters" open the menu to that and right click on the one you want to disable and click disable.

in the BIOS
start the pc and get into the BIOS
and look for the section that enables / disables onboard stuff

Cheers
