How do I delete the history on my computer? Please help!?

I have a windows XP microsoft hp computer. On my old computer i used aol explorer and it was really easy to delete my history. On this comptuer though I use microsoft internet explorer and I can't figure out a way to clear the sites I have visited. How do I do this?
