how do i delete a history of files visited from my start menu?

i've tried all the normal ways. There are some addresses that show were visited and i can't delete this. I deleted all history and cookies. When i type (www) in my start search window a hisory of visted sites show up. Some have the option to delete but some don't. What can i do ?
 
this might help, click start, control panel, internet options, content, go down to autocomplete, click settings,uncheck the three boxes.also you might want to try cc cleaner to delete temp. int files etc. its a free program and works great. good luck
