How do I define my moot (proposition) for a debate?

Well, my moot or my proposition for the debate is "You should be thankful for what you have in life instead of wanting more"

What I want is to define the moot, and to expand on the key points (thankful, life, wanting, have).

And what would be a good teamline for this?
