If you want add some decoration on the walls and not spend a lot here are a few ideas.
1.buy stencils you can find in any craft shop and a test paint can of your color choice at the hardware or paint store. place the stencil where you want the design and take a sponge with a little pain and dab NOT WIPE the paint on to the stencil. remove the stencil and you have your own personal design on the wall.
2. Not like painting. Try using different materials, textures and designs. If your bedding if one flat color add some colorful throw pillows of contrasting color and different textures. If you have a single floor color use a rug with similar color as the rest of the room.
3. If your room is a little dark you can use some old winter lights to string around the top of your room.
