How do I deal with nerves when it comes to my driving test?

I'm taking my second driving test soon and i'm worried sick :( The first time was bad enough but I know what it's like now so that's of some benefit :)

The problem arises when I actually take the test. Like any other test I could be the best in the world at what i'm doing but once I actually start doing it nerves take over! :( I get flustered and make the silliest of mistakes :(

What can I do to overcome this? It's wrecking my life and all I need to hear is the word "test" or "exam" and my body goes into panic mode!

Please help!

I'm not a psychologist but you need to try and remember that it just doesn't really matter whether you pass or fail! There's a lot more things in life to worry about (not that that helps with irrationalpanickingg) I know how you feel, I have taken 4 driving tests (2 car 2 lorry) and all of them scared the hell out of me!

look at it this way, I have taken my two daughters straight A dumbie number one and diva miss starlet number two both to their driving tests. Well they both were silly girls and botched their tests. It was funny except for the crying fit the first one had walking back in the building with her failed test bawling and beet red, the other one said oh well and giggled. Its like this you just do it again!

just chill out, relax, take a deep breath. dont think negative like "im gonna fai?l","what if i mess up?" or "i cant do this"!!. when you think like that you lead yourself to failure. just stay positive and have confidence. do you realize when you think negative and have low confidence you kinda do what you say you cant do and just flop. at least when you stay positive and think you can do it your trying and you most likely succeed. stay focus no negative thinking and try.

before taking your drivers test drink some herbal tea with lemon.
