I'm 18 years old. My Dad gets irritated and angry about the very tinniest of things. He's becoming very impatient and unreasonable. It's become very difficult to talk to him. He's otherwise calm and real fun to talk to, but he's very unpredictable.
Like if i didn't catch what he said n i ask him to repeat himself, he gets super mad and starts grumbling. If i agree with him on something, he thinks i'm being sarcastic n making a joke out of it. And when he does get mad at me, it lasts for day. He'll use the silent treatment. Not talk to me for days, and this one time, for weeks together.
Is there any way that i can make dad realise that his getting angry is unreasonable most of the times and it does feel bad to be yelled at even when he's not necessarily correct. I used to retort earlier but now i remain quiet and don't give him a reaction of annoyance. But it somehow doesn't seem to work. Please help!
