How do I cut/style wigs?

Hey, there! I'm kinda confused with styling wigs (synthetic ones). I think I can style my own wig, but the hard part is that my friend told me that they will curl up if I cut it wrong. Is there any website that teaches how to cut and style synthetic wigs or can you teach me? :D I really need this ASAP... Please... :( There is no salon here that styles wigs. Please help me out! Thanks!!
