How do I cure exercising cough?

I exercise a lot. I do the program p90x and while it has helped me lose weight and feel better fitness-wise, it also has most likely broken up all that crap in my lungs. I now cough a lot with the occasional mucus (glue-white colored) and it has been going on for several weeks.
