Alright, so I'm trying to create a website template for myself so I can start working on a website soon. The host I'm going to go with is limited to CSS/HTML, so I can't use Java/PHP/whatnot (not that I know them anyway). I'm working with dreamweaver while I do this. I'm trying to figure out how to create a good looking title-area for my site that'll adjust to people's different screen resolutions without distorting.
A good example is mmorpg.com. All of the corners are rounded and the lines are clean. The content of the page (background included) scales to the screen resolution the user is using (so there's never a horizontal scroll bar). I know I can use percentages to scale images/whatnot, but how do they do that without distorting the logos/such? Please keep in mind that I'm relatively a novice with HTML, I know how to use it and how it works but the last time I used it was probably 3 years ago.
