I have a set of 4 - 4gb flash drives and a powered 4 port usb hub that I am trying to set up as a 4 member RAID 5. I have a Foxconn A7da-S mobo, usb drives are set manual to hard drive emulation but windows 7 rc still sees them as removable media and the windows built in software raid-esque drive managment will not allow me to even mirror them I am assuming because it knows they arent hard drives? Is there a 3rd part software raid utility out there to accomplish my goal? Or is there a better way to do this? I have been succsesful in doing this in linux.
