How do I convince my stubborn parents to let me go into show business?

I'm told all the time from numerous people that I should be a performer for the rest of my life. I am 15, 16 in January. I have already had hollywood search.com contact me, however my parents think it is a scam ( which I understand why they believe that), but my point is that I have a passion for this, I have been told that I was born for this, and I just don't understand why my parents want me to choose a different career path. Does anyone have any advice?
 
You think your parents are stubborn because at 15 they won't let you leave school and run off to Hollywood? They are just being good parents. You can have a career after you get an education. Take theater classes in college.
