I want a Gaming PC but my parents (Mostly my Mum) wont get a Gaming PC when our current Pre-made $1000 Acer PC will break down. She never would listen to me when buying a PC and thinks gaming is bad and its more fun to go outside and play with a ball.
My parents grew up in the USSR and never played any video games in their life except my Dad who only the past few years got their first PC and he started playing Tetris Worlds and Minesweeper.
My Mum meanwhile doesn't like violent games and doesn't believe in building any kind of PC and she only buys pre-made ones.
I don't get paid for anything like chores and I go to a Selective High School. Im currently in year 7 and even if i finish all my homework my parents still wont let me go and play games on our current PC. My Mum wont even let me open up our PC case even after its warranty and she doesn't support 2 broken PCs in our Garage and even if i had my own money she wouldn't let me buy one for myself.
She also NEVER EVER buys anything online and wont let me sell old working parts from our PC
For all those people who think Im to young to handle building PCs and my parents know more than me,
1. I almost won the UNSW ICAS (was 3 questions incorrect from Medal Winner) Computer competition but i still got a Distinction every year since year 4.
2. I have considered trying to learn Java and I have started recently.
3. I know how to assemble a PC and to make a Hackintosh
