How do I convince my parents into letting me buy myself a car?

I have tried everything so far, I told them I will pay for everything it involves including insurance yet they still won't allow me to buy myself a car. I know it sounds strange yes. I have taken all of the courses and I am going to take my written and driving test soon. Please help, I cannot go through high-school on bumming rides from friends, biking, and taking the bus.
