how do i convince my mom to let me go to camp in california?

i live in virginia right now. but there's this camp that there isn't one in anywhere else in the country. it's a skateboarding camp! i'm dying to go! but she doesn't want me to! i'm 12 going on 13 and i want to skateboard! i already do some but i want to be able to learn how to do tricks and this is how i'm going to do it! she says i'm too young! but i'll fly and i've been flying since i was in diapers so i kno how it works and there's people who take you there and back on the flights because i'm a minor so i'm fine. i'll have my cell phone and i'll call her when i leave and when i get there! i just want to go so badly! how do i convince her?
 
Well, you may not want to hear this, but you are too young, IMO. Skateboarding has become really popular all over. Look around your area for some skateboarding classes in your area, you may find some.
 
offer to pay yourself, travel included(tyou need a job asap, try picking up 1 or 2 paper routes, they take 30-40 minutes each and you can get 200 a month, really your only choice since your a youngian)
show your mom a brochure
have your mom call camp info to talk to an administrator
tell your mom youll call every night at a predetermined time and bnever miss that time or she wont trust you next time
 
Well probably because it costs a shit load for cross country plane tickets and the camp. Unless you are paying for it good luck with that. Or if you are rich and your parents spoil you which they probably do since you are asking this.

Good luck adjusting to the real world where life isn't fair!
 
Show her you're mature and responsible enough to not have to worry. It's not like she's not letting you go because she thinks you lack skill with the skateboard.
 
1. say you have no friends and you want to meet people like you and this is the best place to get them (act it up)

2. say its a bible camp and its the best value one

3.offer to pay for some of it if not all

4.help alot and be nice and then beg and kiss as like mad till she gives in
 
Presuming your not going on your own, you could get one of your friends parents to talk to her and assure her everything will be ok.

Explain how everything will work in detail and assure her you will call her once everyday so she knows your ok.

Also give her a contact number for the camp so when you get there she can phone and get the staff to confirm you are where you say you are.
