I have several home movies on the computer that I want to convert so I can play them on a DVD player. Is there any software that I can use to do this? Please do not tell me any that will cost me any money. Thank you.

both windows xp and vista has movie maker programme. u can use that very simply. just open ur video in movie maker and export it to dvd

You can use Windows Movie Maker. It's fairly user-friendly (you can probably figure out most of it in about 10 minutes) and it's free.

Search for DVD authoring software on Google- I use DVD Architect but that costs money.
