Alright, I'm at my dad's house for a little while and I'm trying to get my xbox to connect to the internet. I entered his WPA key to connect to the network and when I test the xbox live connection, it connects to the network, connects to the internet, but then fails to connect to Xbox Live.
I've tried everything that it tells me, opening port 3074, resetting the modem/router, I tried putting the xbox in DMZplus mode and it still won't work.
It's a 2wire 3800 hgv b and I've tried going to the router config page and looking for something that will allow port forwarding or allow me to enable UPNP but I can't find anything.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, were you able to fix it?
It's a wireless connection and I can't connect my Xbox directly to the modem using an ethernet cable because they're in separate parts of the house. Wireless is my only option.
