How do I connect my laptop to my tv?

if ur tv supports hdmi, buy a hdmi cable to connect to the tv. alternatively u could use a vga cable if ur tv has a vga port. also if ur laptop has a composite port (its circular), and must be mentioned in the manuals if ur laptop has the port.

I looked up your product specs, and it says that you have HDMI port on your HP. If your Sanyo TV also HDMI port, then you can connect them together with a HDMI cable which has the capability of transmiting both video and sound. If your HP doesn't use the TV as a display automatically, usually there's a function key to toggle the external display... something like FN+F5, though you'll get a clue from the icons on your keyboard.

If your TV does not support HDMI, then you might be able to get a converter for whatever kind of input it takes.

hdmi cable or s video

quality wise ur better off with an HDMI cable

after that you have to right on the desktop>properties and play around with the Appearance or settings tabs, sorry i cant remember

You can utilize your television to display your videos and other files that are on your laptop.
Utilize a 15-pin, male-to-male VGA cable to connect your laptop to your TV. On a Mac, the VGA input is easily labeled with a “display” icon. It’s suggested that you do this with all powered off.
As A Replacement For of a VGA cable, you can also use an S - Video cable. All TV’s have an S-video input.
You can also use a wireless converter - like this one from AdLogic. It change over the digital signal on your laptop into a format your analog TV can show.
I hope you get what you need.
Good Luck....
Regards
