how do i connect my ipod touch to my iphone via bluetooth?

it pairs up but will never connect. I currently have the 3.0.3 OS on ipod, and an LG Chocolate 3 with verison. PLEASE HELP!!!
it pairs up but will never connect. I currently have the 3.0.3 OS on ipod, and i have an LG Chocolate 3 with verizon (i accidentally put iphone in question preveiw) PLEASE HELP!!!
