How do I connect my HP Ipaq 114 to the modem of my Sony Ericsson C510 mobile phone?

I have tried connecting via my bluetooth feature, entered in all the necessary details but it cannot recognise the modem. Is there something really basic that I'm forgetting.
 
I don't think using your phone as a modem via BlueTooth is possible. I suggest you use the USB cable of the phone and use the Sony Ericsson PC Suite to use your phone to connect to the internet. Also, you must remember that you must have the right internet settings set to your phone in order to use the internet.
