How do I connect my cellphone to my laptop through bluetooth?

I have an HP Pavilion with bluetooth and my cell phone is a BlackBerry Pearl. It Just seems like even when I use the cord the Pictures wont transfer to my laptop. Any help would be wonderful!
I also do not have dial up
