How do I connect my bluetooth headset to my samsung eternity cell?

I just got a bluetooth headset and I don't know how to use it. The cell phone I have is a Samsung Eternity SGH- A867. Does anybody know how to get the headset to connect and work?? I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks!!
