How do I connect my bluetooth headset to my lg EnV (original)?

I own a silver Lg EnV (the original model)
I also have a moderolla headset to use.

I keep trying to connect the bluetooth headset to the phone but it dosent work and i don know why, (it just keeps serching but never finds it)

here are the steps im doing:
1. Makeing my EnV serch for a bluetooth device.
2. Turning on the headset and i think im putting in into descovery mode (by holding down the middle button untill the light flashes and turns soldid, once solid i release)
3. i just let the phone sit and serching, but it never finds the device...


I have verizon btw and does verizon only have headsets supported by them or something? i dont understand

This is really anoying me. plz help
