I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC90 and I want to connect it to my Asus laptop (Windows 7). I do not have a firewire port on my laptop nor do I have a place on it where I can insert a card. I am trying to upload miniDV video so I can watch and edit it on my computer. How can I connect it? Is there such thing as an external firewire drive that will work for this? Can anyone provide me with links and/or other solutions? Many thanks!
