My kitty had a drain stitched into her hip to drain an abscess last night and I'm not sure what exactly to do to clean it. The directions I got were "Gently clean around the drain area with antibacterial soap and water twice daily then pat dry and apply Neosporin." Does this mean I clean the stitches area too and apply Neosporin to the stitches?
