I have a fighting fish in a smallish bowl how to I clean the bowl probably??

the bellow are correct that they should be in a bigger tank... BUT, not necessarily heated. I don't have one in mine since the temperature in the tank is always the right temperature for the fish due to the climate i live in. I just have a filter to keep it clean and mine has been alive for many years now, but that is not the question, so i will answer your question best i can =)
I find using a siphon works well, you can vacuum the gravel whilst the fish is in it, for any ornaments or plants you have in there, u can lift them out using something that has been run through hot water first (boiled so there is no chlorine or anything like that) DO NOT ever put your hands in the tank, it will transfer fungi and other chemicals. Wash anything you take out in boiled water, and you can use something like a toothbrush taken straight out of a packet, do not use anything that has ever seen any other chemicals. I find using a toothbrush to clean the inside of my tank works well also, it doesn't disturb the fish and all is well. Just make sure anything that goes into the tank is sterile and remember to clean 1/4 of the tank every week.

Buy a 5+ gallon heated and filtered aquarium and throw away the bowl.
Bowls are outdated and Cruel fish torture devises. Bettas (Siamese fighting fish) like all tropical fish require heating, filtration and appropriate swimming space. Bettas come from shallow bodies of warm water that are miles long not puddles as some may tell you.

i dont really sugest doing this, but you seem absolutely clueless
, but place the betta in a cup. then, pput the bowl in your tub and run strong water into the sand, gravel and move your hand around in it. after theres no more "gunk" then fill the bowl with room temperatue water and put a water conditioner in it. (im assuming you have this) then, place the betta back into the bowl.

2. empty out the bowl.
3. either throw the bowl away or use it for candy or maybe something decorative, if you use it for food, I suggest washing it well with soap. NEVER use soap to wash something a fish will live in.
how would you like living in a cold closet with no toilet? fish belong in tank... even bettas! bettas are tropical fish. they also do not come from puddles, they live in rice paddies which are thousands of gallons.
