how do i check a gross leak in the E-VAP system on my 02 Dodge Stratus?

First thing is to replace gas cap.See if that clears code.If not they make E-Vap machine that heats up baby oil and hooks into system then pumps the evaporated baby oil into system then you chase it down.

These machines are about 1,000 dollars don't know if you can rent one or not,but I have cleared that code with a simple gas cap
