How do I change update settings on Motorola Devour?

In the past couple days my Facebook account on my Motorola Devour has changed apparently. Previously, I would be updated if a friend commented after me or on something of mine, if they changed their picture or uploaded new ones, or changed their status. Now I am also getting links posts, so my phone is sent a notification every time anybody does anything on Mafia Wars or Farmville or Zoo World, etc.

I need to know how to change this because otherwise I'm going to throw this phone in a toilet. Thanks.
 
okay i think i have a Solution for this.. on your facebook widget on the top left corner of it click the facebook logo witch is the " F " and it will open to the app.. then in the same place it will say " facebook" click that.. then click the menu button.. u no the touch lite up ones and click settings.. the uncheck ' event invites ' that should do it for you.. if it dont then contact verizon!
