how do i change the color of a car in photoshop?

im trying to change the color of a blue mitsubishi evo 8 to white. i have searched for this but i cant find detailed instructions. if you can please explain it or show me a good link to a tutorial i would really appreciate it. this is the third time i use photoshop so im not that experienced. any help would be appreciated. oh and also i have photoshop cs2 by the way
