how do i change my online Verizon wireless account to the account owner ?

im on a account with my dad , and i am trying to upgrade my cell phone online , for a lower price because im not eligible for an upgrade for a couple of months . And i have signed into my Verizon and went to the phone i wanted , and clicked upgrade phone , but it took me to this page that was about the account owner ?? it was very confusing !!! and i was thinking its because i made the online account under my name and cell phone number , and i need to change it to my dads... plzzzz help !
 
If you want to upgrade or get a new phone then he has to do it. You can have an account but you really cant do anything on it besides check information. I have an account and i needed my dad to do all that info for me to get a new phone.
