How do I change my online name on PS3??? I bought the system used and cant change

the online name? I bought the PS3 60GB used and the person before me had an online user name that pops up when I play anything online(guitar hero etc..) I changed all the into in account options. It lets me change the avatar and password but not the user name. Please help the name is terrible.
