I picked up a copy of Photoshop Elements 6.0, but I can't find out how to change the layer style settings. I can see the style settings option in the layer menu, but it's always grayed out so the only way that i can add effects to them is using the filter menu, which is less than idea.
Is this because I've only got the Elements version? If so, why is there a layer styles option in the first place if I can't use it? Or are there certain conditions that need to be met, like a certain tool that needs selecting before I can use this option?
