Im worried about area codes and roaming.
If I buy a pre paid cell ( like Net 10 ) and ship it to another state, can they set it up there with their own are code? Or should I just send them a gift card to buy one at a Wal Mart or something?
My folks live a couple hours away from a Wal Mart and I dont want them to have to drive through a blizzard to get to the store. I just want to send the pre paid in the package directly to them, but Im not sure about the area codes and what not.
Like if I buy in Ca and send to NC, will it be my area code or can they choose when they set up service after opening the package?
