i'm on a yearly salary and i am $15,000 under paid right now, and i either want that raise, or i want to quit my job.
i just don't know how to bring it up. should i request a review? this july i will be at this company for 1 year, and for the past year i've been very under paid! i do soo much work here. i'm the only software developer, so i take care of all Web, Software and Database Design & Development!
i get LOTS of work done here! i am also really good at what i do. i know he wouldn't want to lose me, and he's told me so, so i have that to play with. also, he's told me so many times that he loves my work and he thanks me a lot. but really, that's not enough. i'm moving forward in my life, and if i could be making more money some place else, i have no reason to stay with his company!
how can i bring it up and make it clear to him that if i don't get what i want i'm going elsewhere? he's a really nice guy so i have to do this in a nice way!
