OK, so i just found out i'm pregnant. I was dreading it til the hpt came back positive and so did the blood test. So now i'm actually looking forward to it. The boyfriend seems excited as well. But i haven't broke the news to my mom and dad yet. Me and her are close and talk about pretty much everything expect sex. and to top it off, They don't like my boyfriend. Never have so i think that will make it worse. So basically i'm looking for the best way to ease the news to her, especially since she is still recovering from a hysterectomy.

Wait for the recovery to be further along.
Stress can ruin healing.
And healing in such an important place is, well, important.

You need to tell her, that is for sure.
Maybe start dropping small hints before you break the news.
See how she reacts to them so you know exactly what to say.

I'm 20, and was 19 when I got pregnant. I had still lived with my parents and was afraid to tell them. But when I did, they took it much better than I thought. They had hated my boyfriend, but grew to like him as my pregnancy progressed. They absolutely love being grandparents now that my daughter is a month. You shouldn't wait to tell them. If they are unhappy about it, it will give them time to get over it. If they are happy, they can only get happier. It will give them a lot of time to prepare and look forward to being grandparents. Plus they'll probably buy the baby a lot of nice things, and can help support you emotionally. Trust me, the support from your parents during pregnancy is the best thing you can have.
