how do i becomme less intimidated by intelligence?

Well the cool part is that online it is a lot less personal, if someone agrees with you then good, if they don't then how cares. You don't really know if you are communicating with a 15yo. who is a real idiot (I'm not saying they all are) or someone who is a 40 something Mensan (I'm not saying some of them aren't idiots). You are likely never to meet the person, I think online is a good place, although somewhat artificial place, to build up some self confidence in communicating. There will always be people who know more about particular subjects than you and I, appreciate their info, learn from it, and know everyone can't know everything.

now, i'm not the dullest marble in the deck, but whenever i find someone i don't know but want to (ie online) who seems intelligent, i worry that they're more so than i and i'll have nothing to offer them and get cold feet. how do i stop this?
