how do i become better at 'reading people' like judging body language?

first thing first, when people are talking to you or asking something of you, be sure to pause before you respond to them, watch peoples body language to see if they fidget (means they are eager) or if they don't look you in the eye that's suspicious. Also be sure that you know what people are looking for when you see them.
