I play around with my iPhone 4 quite a bit and I go into system files. I make quite a big mess at times.
I would like to make a clone/image of the entire iPhone4 including all files such that if and when I make a mess big enough and the system halts, I can dump the image of last working state back onto the phone and expect it boot and function as before.
For PC I use Acronis, I think it's called Disk Image. Is there something similar for iPhone please? Thanks. I know there a lot of apps that will back up your applications but not the entire file system.
Or alternatively, would it work if I issue something at command line to simply zip the whole damn file system into one file and take that away?
Thanks.
