How do I ask my friends if I can bunk in their tent with them on camp?

Well, these too girls I'm friends with, ahave a 15man two dome tent, and 6 of them are staying in it for our year 10 camp. We're not really good friends, so, how do I ask if I can bunk with them?
I've already asked them who they're going with, and they already know I have no-one to go with, (the reason is another question I posted)
 
Just simply ask who they're bunking with, when they reply and ask who you're bunking with; just tell them that you don't have anyone to bunk with, and say 'would you mind if I bunk with you?'

maybe start asking and talking about related questions.
Maybe you could pretend you didn't know that and ask them where they are staying. or maybe you could ask is so and so staying with you. tell them it sounds like they have a cool tent... just get them or who ever your going to ask talking about the subject. and then ask something like: hey that sounds cool, i wanna come stay with you guys!
Or say: hey you got room for me?
or give them a sob story about where your going to have to stay vs. where they are staying and maybe they'll invite you cuz your sorta asking them for advice that way.
