I live in an apartment block and my downstairs neighbors are sometimes very noisy. They have parties on week nights, while most people are trying to get to sleep for work the next day. Last night, their party continued until very late. I put earplugs in after midnight sometime after asking them to be quiet and getting no results. The rules of our apartment block say that there is to be silence from 10pm every night. I want to leave them a note reminding them of this, as their schedule is different from mine, but I don't want it to sound passive-aggressive or petty. I just can't continue putting up with noise at all hours!
