How do I approach my boyfriend about sex?

I'm 21 and I'm about to turn 22 and my boyfriend and I, we've been together for about 9-10 months..close to a year. And I feel like I wanna take the next step, I'm a virgin and hes also a vigin (I think he is) and I'm kinda nervous to bring up this topic, I'm ready to do it, I'm not sure if he's ready.. and hes a christian and i am to and I honestly dont want to wait till marraige.
And what if he does want to do it?
How should I start, what do I wear?
What position should we do?
Any Good Advice???
