How do i apply for low income housing/ Financial Aid/ Food Stamps?

The day I turn 18 I have to figure all of this out, I feel increditably overwhelmed and I have no idea where to start looking.

I know about Section 8 and whatnot.... but other than that... I don't really know anything about all of the programs out there.

Btw I live in Washington State.
i have a job i just dont make enough.

Listen. there is no way i can possibly make enough money to support myself right now without some help from the goverment.

I have a job working 36 hours a week during the summer, but i cant work that many whours a week when i am in school from 8-2 pm every day. OK????

and i am not going to drop out and ruin my life just so i can get a full time job right now.

so jesus christ. cut me some fucking slack and actually answer the question or dont.
 
The way to get *everything* paid, rent, food, etc is to get a JOB!! When you apply for Section 8, food stamps, etc..you are forcing the rest of us to pay your way. You haven't mentioned that you are disabled, so I am assuming you are healthy. So get a job. Go to school at night so that you can get a better job!
