how do i add videos onto my insignia sports player?

i lost the cd that came with the mp3 and i don't wan't to pay $50.00 to buy another one so does any one know of a good free video converter not free trial that will put the videos onto my mp3 becuase i have tried putting videos onto my mp3 using differnent software but they only convert the files and doesn't actually put them on there
