How do I add percentage bars to my flash or asp.net apps?

I would like them for everything but if you know how to add one for even one thing that would be great!

I want them for 3 things:

1. notify the user how much of the current page is downloaded
2. notify the user how much of the current file is downloaded
3. notify the user how much of the current file is being uploaded.

ASP.NET has a control for this. ... I just don't know how to use it.

Any help?
