How Do I Add Custom Clothes And Furniture To The Sims 2?

I found edenstyle.it where there is loads of cool clothes and stuff to download.

I was unsure of what to do and I couldn't find a walkthrough guide on that site so decided to just go for it and download it.

I saved it in my downloads file (not in the Sims 2 folder) and it downloaded as a WinRAR Zip Archive file.

I kind of know about extracting the files to different folders but I was unsure of how to go about it.

I looked on the net for instructions and they all said about the same thing; to extract the WinRar file to the downloads folder in the Sims 2 folder.

I don't have a downloads folder and one site said to make a new one if you don't have one, so I did and I extracted the file to that folder.

The file is called edenSposagonnaro and it's a Windows Media Player type.
All the guides said it should now be a .package file and mine isn't.

I don't know what to do!? Someone please help me :)
