How do i add apps (APPLICATIONS) to my sharp FX (stx-2)?

i have a usb, mini sd 2GB, and a lot of patience. what i need to know is that i downloaded these apps namely for school (I.E. oxford dictionary, thesaurus, notepad lock++) i need this stuff for school right? well i just got this phone yester day. they have you putting music on it through such a retarded method it's not even funny. I want to know where can i put my .JAR compressed files to be accessible in my phone through my phone. i want the root directory and step by step process. for some reason or another i cant get it to show up....probably because i have to make a new folder or something retarded like that. It's a SHARP FX (stx-2). i made sure they are JAVA2 files that are ran by most smart phones... or at least that's what umnet.com told me anyways. I'd like someone to look into this for me. i can't figure out how to get these apps to show... not to mention i HAVE NO DATA plan 0. no email hell they wont even let me update the firmware on this thing. much less get on the app store. if someone has a solution id be extremely grateful.
