How do i add a lock code to my 2009 LG Banter?

I already know my code, but to lock my phone, i have to actually go to my settings and tell it to lock...and once i unlock it, in order to re-lock it, i have to go to my settings again

basically, i want to know how to make it so that it automatically locks&&makes you type a code to access my phone

i do waaaay too many butt-calls haha
